Do you recognise yourself in any of these signs?

Anxiety or constant tension

Persistent anxiety, restlessness or inner tension may point to something that needs to be understood.

Persistent anxiety, restlessness or inner tension can be more than a response to everyday stress. Ongoing sensations of tension may reflect unrecognised emotions or past experiences that continue to influence the way we live today. In psychotherapy, we seek to understand what lies behind this restlessness, giving it meaning and space for transformation.

Repeating patterns

Repeating choices, behaviours or relationships may reveal dynamics that deserve to be understood.

Feeling that you are always living “the same story” can be frustrating and confusing. Certain patterns — in choices, behaviours or relationships — often have unconscious roots. Exploring these dynamics can make them more conscious, opening the possibility for new ways of acting and relating.

Draining relationships

Recurring relationship difficulties may reveal learned ways of connecting and protecting oneself.

Our relationships are often the stage where earlier emotional experiences are expressed. Recurring difficulties with others may reflect learned ways of connecting, protecting oneself or responding to affection. Psychotherapy helps to understand these relational patterns, supporting more authentic and satisfying bonds.

Times of change or loss

Separations, grief or life changes may call for a space of emotional processing.

Moments of transition — such as separations, grief or life changes — can bring instability and questioning. Beyond their immediate impact, these experiences may reactivate earlier experiences. A therapeutic space allows these losses and changes to be processed and integrated more meaningfully into your story.

Difficulty managing emotions

Intense or confusing emotions can become more understandable in a safe space of listening.

Intense, confusing or difficult-to-control emotions may indicate emotional experiences that have not been fully integrated. Rather than avoiding or repressing them, psychotherapy invites their understanding.

Low self-esteem

Feelings of low self-worth may have older roots and can be worked through in psychotherapy.

The way we see ourselves is built over time, through the relationships and experiences we have had. Persistent feelings of low self-worth may be linked to internalised criticism or unmet emotional needs. In psychotherapy, we work to understand the origin of these feelings and to develop a safer and more compassionate inner relationship.

EMDR Therapy | Adults

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychotherapeutic approach, widely used in the treatment of trauma and emotionally disturbing experiences.

It is based on the understanding that some experiences can remain “blocked” in the nervous system, continuing to generate suffering in the present.

Through bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, sounds or alternating taps, EMDR helps the brain reprocess these memories in an adaptive way, reducing the associated emotional charge and promoting healthier integration.

It is a structured, safe and effective therapy, used not only in situations of trauma, but also in anxiety, depression, grief, phobias and relational difficulties.
