1. Who we are

Intencionalis is a space dedicated to psychology and psychotherapy. This Privacy Policy explains, in simple terms, how we collect, use and protect personal data submitted through this website.

2. Personal data we may collect

When you complete the contact form, booking request form or psychotherapy request questionnaire, we may collect data such as name, email address, phone number, age, contact preferences, service of interest and information voluntarily shared in relation to the request.

3. Purpose of processing

The data collected is used to respond to your request, provide information about appointments or services, manage initial contacts, follow up on booking requests and guide the most suitable clinical referral when you submit the psychotherapy questionnaire. We do not use this data for automated decision-making.

4. Sensitive data

The psychotherapy request questionnaire may include sensitive information about health, emotional wellbeing, relationships or intimate life, always shared voluntarily. This information is handled confidentially, only to analyse and respond to the request, and the questionnaire is sent to geral@intencionalis.com, accessed only by Clinical Director Bernardo Couto.

5. Legal basis

The processing of data is based on your consent when submitting the form or questionnaire and on our legitimate interest in responding to contact or booking requests sent through the website.

6. Data retention

Data will be kept only for the period necessary to respond to your request and manage the initial contact, unless there is a legal obligation or legitimate need to retain it for a longer period.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be processed by technical service providers required for the operation of the website, email delivery or forms, always within the purposes stated in this policy.

8. Security

We adopt appropriate measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure. Nevertheless, no transmission over the Internet is completely risk-free.

9. Your rights

Under applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection to the processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on it.
